FOR BLUE-COLLAR JOB CREATORS, It can be extremely difficult, time-consuming, and costly to find quality workers. The fact is, many individuals with qualifying blue-collar experience have found themselves 'disqualified' because of life-circumstances. Drug & alcohol abuse and trouble with the law leave a stain on the resume that most employers can't overlook - and for good reason. For job creators the alternative is, an endless employee-hunt which exposes the liability associated with job trials, payroll taxes, workers compensation, and the high risk of poor job-performance. This puts a crippling strain on company reputation and drives down moral.

Imagine you struggled with drug or alcohol abuse, violence, homelessness, or mental health. One day, a helper came your way and you turned over a new leaf. GREAT! But now you need to go make something of your life. You need a job, but you don't have any skills. Or, you have skills, but no-one will hire you because of your past record. What then? How do you start over?

Unfortunately, this is the point when most slip back into self-destructive patterns, landing them right back where they started. It's a vicious cycle that many well-intentioned mentorship organizations attempt to solve, but they can only take it so far. They aren't equipped to facilitate job placement and on-going career training, and that's where the wheels begin to fall off.

AT BRIDGE BUILDERS, we believe everyone deserves a shot at redemption. We partner with mentorship organizations that are solely committed to serving the mental, emotional, and spiritual health of this under-served community, preparing them for a life-altering career path. These mentors create a stable accountability structure that cultivate a fertile environment for the redemption story to flourish.

IT'S TIME TO GET TO WORK! Once we identify individuals who have shown that they are ready to get back to work, we enroll them in our Federally approved apprenticeship program. During this program, Bridge Builders shoulders the payroll and workers compensation liability, which makes our apprentices appealing prospects for job creators. On the job, they will hone their skills under the supervision of their prospective employer, while receiving constant accountability support from their mentor partner.

Job creators are able to fill vacant labor needs with eager and competent workers, while enjoying limited risk. Upon the completion of the apprenticeship program, the employer benefits from a fully committed team member. Because our mentor partners have skin in the game, they are motivated to provide the highest level of accountability support, ensuring the success of their mentorship efforts. This creates a much higher success rate, and motivates other prospects to step-up-to-the-plate. The worker benefits holistically. They find life purpose, receive world-class job training, are surrounded by an organic community rooting for their success, and gain necessary life-skill to make a profound impact in the world.
